Fullhurst Community College

Completed in 2019 this building is a large two storey teaching facility in Leicester for Fullhurst Community College. The new facility will help the College expand it’s offering to students and also provide future proofing for their growing numbers.

Internally the 72 bays form 18 classrooms, a plant room, five offices, three work rooms, a hygiene room, science prep room, three science rooms, an IT room, numerous stores and toilets.

To add extra economical and environmental advantage to this permanent modular build we installed nearly 300 photovoltaic panels on the roof, providing an estimated annual output of 65,000kWh. Our calculations suggest that this would provide an EPC rating of A+, making this a carbon neutral building!
