Our client contacted us to provide them with a 26 bay training facility for the prison.
The ground floor included male and female changing areas and toilets, a first aid room, quiet room, plant room, office and stand down area. The second floor had two classrooms, a restroom, a store and further male/female changing space.
The external finishes included plastisol cladding, steel doors and uPVC windows. Internally it was all vinyl faced plasterboard with a variety of different floor finishes, this made the building easily cleanable and more vandal proof.
We had to keep the existing prison facility live whilst we were delivering the units and working onsite.
